The Substation A Home For the Arts

Interesting place. Well they have a lot of things related to the Arts there. something like the Esplanade but a smaller version. they have performance like plays and musicals.

6th September : First Take
They have a performance every first tuesday of every month at The Substation. Free admission. 8-10pm. It is an opportunity for the new film-makers to actually come and meet and show their idea. So if you guys want to be a film-maker you might want to create a new idea and present it at The Substation.

Im not sure how they recruit their artist but i'll get to you on that. seems like they all are Arts graduate from La Salle-SIA College of the Arts. But dont worry its not what you have on paper that matters its the talent. hmm...

But the people at The Substation are very open to new, younger people who are keen in this field. there are also people who are using their venues. Interesting. I'll get more details. But the very brief info that i have written can be found on the website http://www.substation.org/
